So today was the London In Bloom awards ceremony at the world famous @rhswisley

This year we put ourselves forward for a new category which is for Small Business Landscapes and a category we have entered for last 2 years which is for the Pub Garden…..we won Gold for Landscape which is amazing for us considering all of the other entrants and for the first time in the Pub category we won Gold and the Category Champion which is the highest award to win……to say we are over the moon with this is an absolute understatement.

Our multi award winning pub garden has been a labour of love for nearly 7 years…..now do you understand why we have our garden rules in place? lol a massive shout out to Ronnie, the green fingered one, Mat who likes the colours, Donna and Karen who help with the watering of the garden and of course Christian for the weekly maintenance of the lawn and pruning and making sure that Ronnie’s bushes stay trimmed and both Ronnie & Christian implementing new ideas each year as our garden evolves every year

We get asked what do we love about being in this business and our pub, apart from the continued support from our loyal customers it’s acknowledgment and things like this that make it all worth while for us

And of course who can forget that the @sidcupbid won the amazing and very well deserved Gold & Category Champion award for the best Business Improvement District (BID) in all of London, a massive well done to Sue and the rest of the team that make this happen, especially to Colin who keeps our hanging baskets and the Blooms all around Sidcup looking there best all year round and of course a mention for the Sidcup Community Larder proving that it’s not just about the blooms but also the sustainability too
