VE Day Celebrations

This VE Day, 80 years to be exact, we will be having our indoor old school street party, bunting galore, old school sandwiches, nibbles and snacks, think of cheese and pineapple on sticks and jam tarts, yum
It’s a double whammy with entertainment with Matt & Mike putting on a variety act for you from 5pm to 7pm then we have Karaoke with Steve from 8pm……we want to hear you all singing lots of old classics, Vera Lynn anyone?
Like all pubs that were the meeting place back then for people to forget what was going on in the outside world, sharing stories, sharing experiences etc….we are still here and going strong, no matter what is thrown at us, a stiff upper lip will always get us through like it did back then, proud to be British and always will be
