In case you didn’t know it’s British Pie Week from the 1st to the 7th of March, like we need an excuse to eat pies 🐷🐷 so we have teamed up with @manz in Peckham yet again to do our bit next Wednesday the 3rd March 🤩🤩🤩we will be serving Pie, Mash and Liquor (or gravy for you heathens out there) and jellied/stewed eels for take away, we will also have bottles of chili vinegar available 😋🤩 YOU CAN HAVE JUST EELS IF YOU SO WISH🤩you can have as little or as much as you like, the choice is yours 🤩 this yummyness is lovingly prepared in the Peckham branch for you all to enjoy 😋
M.Manze was established in 1902 by Michele Manze - the present owners' Grandfather. They still use the same recipes today for the pies and liquor as were used in 1902, the only changes made have been to improve quality and to meet the higher food standards of today🤩🤩

Orders must be placed by Monday the 1st March by 4pm, collection will be on Wednesday the 3rd between 3pm and 6pm only. You can pay on the day or by bank transfer. From Thursday the 15th April these will be the opening times of our garden, Thursday 2pm to 8pm, Friday 2pm to 9pm, Saturday 12pm to 9pm and Sunday 12pm to 6pm. These times are not set in stone and may change on a day by day basis, this is also very strongly weather dependent, if it is raining then the garden will not be open! Tables can be booked, send your enquiry via our website.

Whilst the garden is open we will be serving a limited menu which will be available Thursday to Saturday until 6:30pm and until 5pm on Sundays. The menu will be a choice of hot pie, bacon roll, cheese roll, pasty or one of our new stuffed crust pizzas.
Our usual good value lunch menu will commence when the pub itself is allowed to open.
All of our food is freshly cooked and prepared in our scores on the doors 5 star rated kitchen.
Dates to look out for, Friday April 9th, Italian take away and then for St George's day we will be doing Pie & Mash for take away and if the weather is good this will be available to eat in the garden.
